Brow Lamination - FAQ

What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination involves straightening and lifting the hairs using an adhesive to glue then down as a solution is applied during the treatment. This allows the hairs to transform into the desired shape and covers any gaps or stray areas. This will result in a fuller and fluffier looking brow that stays in place when brushed up into shape and lasts six to eight weeks.

How Long is the Treatment?

The brow lamination treatment takes 30 to 120 minutes depending on if a clinet wishes to add shaping, tinting or henna.

Do not apply Retin-A, AHA (“alpha-hydroxy acids”), and do not exfoliate the brow area for at least 72 hours before or after the brow treatment. Do not apply self-tanner, or receive spray tanning for at least 48 hours post-treatment. Gently comb hairs back into place daily to keep them nice and fluffy or neat and tidy!

Microblading involves using semi-permanent tattooing meathod to create individual hair strokes to fill in your brows and lasts anywhere from 1-3 years. Brow lamination straightens and lifts your natural hairs to achieve a full and feathered look, with no tattooing involved lasting 6-8 weeks depending on each individual's hair growth.

Is Brow Lamination Damaging?

No it's not. We use a nourishing serum on their brows at the end of the treatment. This ensures the brow hairs stay hydrated. We recommend using castor oil as a post-treatment remedy, as it helps boost growth and nourishes the hair. (Simply apply a coating of castor oil using a Q-tip before your sleep.)

Can I Wear Brow Gel?

Of course, but you wont need to if you get a tint or henna. For the glossy effect, definately use brow gel!
