Festival Makeup Tips:

Music festivals are tons of fun. But you are also out in the sun all day dancing away. You want to make sure your makeup can last 12 hours from start to finish. Here are our favorite setting tips and tricks that ensure our clients won’t be needing a touch up every 30 minutes.

Baking Technique:
This is a trick used by makeup professionals in the industry for years. It gives a soft airbrush look and holds the makeup all day!
[Image by @HeidiMakeupArtist] After makeup application, take a wet beauty blender and dip into translucent loose powder. Do not shake off the excess. Dab this to the T-zone and under the eyes, constantly dipping back into the loose powder to ensure there is lots of product being applied. Let that sit on the skin, ie. “Bake” for at least 10 mins. Once that sets, sweep off any excess powder that hasn’t set in with a large powder brush.

Tip: Apply highlighter on top to maintain a radiant finish and spritz with a setting spray to maximize long lasting hold on your makeup! We like the “Urban Decay- All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray” for a matte finish, and the Two Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray
